Court Reporting Program
"After graduation, I freelanced in the Dallas/Ft. Worth metropolitan area for a few years. After moving to New York in 1997, I freelanced in Manhattan for one year before ascertaining a job with the New York State Supreme Court – Criminal Term. I held that officialship in one of the most interesting courts in the world! The cases I heard and were a part of on a daily basis were fascinating! I brought in a six-figure income in my second year with said employment and each year thereafter. After five years as an official, I gave up my job when I had triplets four years ago. Recently, I was able to ascertain a freelance job for myself very easily, which I will begin in the coming months. Even after being out of the field for four years, I am able to create my own set schedule of the days on which I can work. There are very few professions that have so many different facets available to them, with such flexibility in hours and schedules that command the type of financial security that a court reporter does. I just can’t say enough about this profession. Thank you, Vecchio."
Sincerely,

"I started working here right after graduation and have been here ever since. They have moved me up several positions since I started and I am very thankful to Arlington Career Institute. It gave me an opportunity to better my family and myself. Special thanks to Jay Vecchio!"

"The time that I spent at Arlington Career Institute was not only a great aid in obtaining my sought out career interests, but also was very fun. With what I was able to learn, not only textbook wise, but rather with regards to stature, poise and confidence, prepared me to get out there and obtain the position that I have been looking forward to. I am currently employed by a corporate bankruptcy attorney in downtown Fort Worth. Unlike before, I can honestly say that I enjoy going to work and feel as though I am, rather quickly, reaching long-term goals for my life. Being a mother, wife and full-time paralegal keeps me busy, but I love every minute of it. Thank you for the extra push when I needed it."

"I think that my life has definitely changed for the better. I say this because I found out that going to school is not just about having a job, but a career. I feel more confident in expressing myself and speaking in public. And during this short time of only six months, I’ve found out many things about myself. One thing is that if I just try hard enough I can accomplish a lot. Coming from a background in the arts, I never thought I would be interested in the field of Law, or better yet, be good at it. Now I believe this. I also believe I have received valuable training, in which, in just a few more months, I can become an integral part of a law office. Did I really think this 6 months ago? Not really. I am grateful that even though it seemed a bit intimidating at first, it really compelled us to do better and be better future Paralegals. I’m grateful for this, and like you said, when we first started we were just seeds, and now we’re shrubs. But seriously, this whole A.C.I. experience has bettered me and I am appreciative of that."

Unsure Program of Study
"My life has changed for the better, because I was not in the best place 6 months ago, and now I have a job and will soon have a career. I have a lot more opportunities because I have gone back to school, and my family thinks a lot more of me then they did before I started in this program. I think that this is a really great school and the teachers here are all willing to help the students to pass and understand everything. I feel that I have really learned a lot about the different types of law, and also how to write case briefs and legal memorandum."

"I would like to thank all of the wonderful people at the Arlington Career Institute for providing me with the foundation and tools necessary to pursue a career in the legal field. Since graduation at ACI, I have been working as a paralegal for six years and truly love my job. Additionally, I have completed my Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, and I have been accepted to attend law school in the fall this year. Attending ACI definitely put me on the path to success, and I am very thankful for the kind and professional staff at ACI. The 'ten year plan' really works!"

"This is just a note to let you know that I have been offered and accepted the position of Clinical Research Associate for the Transplantation Program at Children’s Medical Center in Dallas. This position is responsible for updating the database for all the recipients and donors of organs for children in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. It is also a position that requires the ability to look at the patients' charts for information, interview patients' families before and after the transplant process, report back to the physicians and travel twice a year to various conferences. Computer skills and communication skills are critical. If it weren’t for your help at the school, I would feel inadequate."
Thank you for everything.
Sincerely,
Jane Myer

"My first day of school at ACI was November 7, 2005. I met some good people along the way. My thanks goes to Joyce in Admissions, she’s one heck of a lady and Jay Vecchio who believed in me and never let me fall. With a lot of hard work and determination, I graduated October 2006. I was offered a job in Dallas on November 7, 2006, one year later to the day. Thank you ACI for making a difference in my life!!!"
