Medical Office Specialist Program

Arlington Career Institute’s Medical Office Specialist program prepares a graduate with solid training for a career in the medical field. Job duties may include: medical records clerk, accounting clerk, medical transcriptionist, medical biller/coder, collector, clinical secretary, clinical coordinator, intake coordinator, medical registrar, customer service representative, insurance verification clerk, medical receptionist, patient registrar, admissions coordinator, unit clerk, scheduler, front office clerk, general clerk, or admittance clerk.

Healthcare remains one of the fastest-growing fields in the nation. As new jobs are created, the need for skilled employees will continue to increase. A career in the medical field is not only rewarding but will also provide job security.

In addition to a diploma, graduates will receive certification as a Certified Billing and Coding Specialist and as a Certified Medical Administrative Assistant from the National Health Career Association.
