At Arlington Career Institute, our expansive Medical Assistant program provides you with a combination of clinical and administrative skills necessary to thrive in the fast-paced health care industry. As a medical assistant, your job duties may include medical records clerk, medical biller/coder, customer service rep, insurance verification clerk, medical receptionist, front office clerk, phlebotomist, lab tech, or admittance clerk.
A medical assistant is a vital link between the patient and the health care delivery system, providing essential support to both patients and physicians. Additionally, medical assistants can reap the benefits of obtaining a position in the growing medical industry.
Upon completion of the program, graduates will take the MA Certification Exam administered by the National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP).

“This year has been very rough for me I lost my father I've been hospitalized 3 times and I've been up-and-down with being sick when I in rolled at Arlington career institute I felt a little worried but once the ball got rollin I was able to find myself again the medical terminology class was instructed by Mrs Sandra and being a part of her class made me feel that I had a purpose in being in the medical field I have previous medical experience but walking in her class and absorbing the education she provided I feel well prepared for anything the medical field has to offer I am due to graduate in July of 2020 and I am looking forward to that not only because I went to school but because I know when I walk across Arlington career institute stage And receive my medical office specialist certification I am ready to take on the medical field.”
