Are you looking for a career where you can make a difference? Arlington Career Institute’s Vocational Nursing (VN) program can help you get started.
The Vocational Nursing Program at Arlington Career Institute is a 12-month program accredited by the Texas Board of Nursing. Students who graduate from the program will receive a Diploma of Completion and will be eligible to make application for licensure as a Vocational Nurse (VN) and to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Vocational Nurses (NCLEX-PN).
In the course of your studies, you’ll learn a variety of skills LVNs need to succeed including anatomy and physiology, pharmacology and medication administration, and nursing leadership skills. In addition to classroom and lab learning, you’ll also gain clinical practice at hospitals, long-term facilities and rehabilitation centers.

"I was in the first cohort for the LVN/LPN program at ACI, and it was so definitely worth it! My experience though, was quite different from many of my peers as I was pregnant throughout almost the entire program from beginning to end. Even though I had every odd against me, every one of my instructors did everything they could to ensure my success and I can never thank this administration enough for that. I graduated in October along with my peers, and I just found out that I passed the Texas State Board exam, so I am officially an LVN/LPN! I am forever thankful to this school and my instructors Miss Bailey, Miss Nikki, and Miss Tawana. They are the reason that I made it through and the reason I will be successful in my career.”
"I graduated the LVN program October 2022, and I am now a NURSE thanks to my amazing Program Directors and instructors Mrs. Bailey, Ms. Nikki, and Mrs. Twanna. A big thank you to all of the administrative staff as well. ACI should be your first stop if you are planning to become a nurse. "
"Ms. Laura in Financial Aid was very helpful, friendly, and super nice! I truly appreciated all of the assistance she gave me. Also, our instructors Ms. Nikki, Mrs. Tawanna, and Ms. Bailey definitely understood the assignment! I was in the first cohort and boy it was tough, but very worth it! Wouldn’t trade my experience for anything in the world! Again, I thank those ladies for sticking with us and getting through. "
